We retain the credit card details you provide to us after payment has been made. This assists in reducing credit card fraud. By participating in this prize draw you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
Prize draw open to customers and non-customers aged 18 or over who are UK residents. Draw is not open to employees of (Direct Line), their families or anyone associated with this draw. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request.
No purchase necessary - send your full name, address and telephone number on a postcard to (Unity, Unit 110 Black Bull Yard, 24-28a Hatton Wall, London EC1N 8JH) for entry. The prize draw can be entered by obtaining a quote online or via telephone.
Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible, will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry.
The second prize is one (box of Tea-mergency tea) per winner and the first prize is tea for two at The Ritz hotel London. The prizes include postage to winners’ UK addresses. Promotion runs from (13th August 2009) and all entries must be received by midnight on (27th August 2009) latest.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for loss through technical fault, incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
Winners will be selected every day throughout (13th August – 27th August 2009) and notified by Twitter within 48 hours.
The Promoter will announce ten winners of the competition every day between 13th August-27th August.
Winners will have seven days to respond after notification that they have won, after which time an alternative winner may be chosen at random.
The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The promoter’s decision is final in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter reserves the right (a) to add to or waive any rules on reasonable notice (b) cancel or postpone the promotion at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control; or (c) in its reasonable discretion to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Winners must cooperate fully for publicity purposes if so required by Unity.
If a prize remains unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

To enter the competition will require the entrant to visit www.twitter.com and “tag” a tweet with the words #teamergency. This will constitute entry to the competition.
Entries may not contain or constitute: racism or bigotry; hate speech; physical threats of any kind; harassment; libel; copyright infringement; gratuitous profanity; inappropriate nudity; obscenity; or spam.
Tweets tagged with the word #teamergency will be judged and the Winners will be chosen on the basis of suitability to tone and style of the Competition.
The Promoter will also select winners on Twitter by scanning for tweets and chosen Winners on the basis of suitability to tone and style of the Competition.
A total of ten winners will be selected every day. Winners will be contacted through Twitter and asked to send their postal address in order to be sent a box of tea.
The Promoter will also select five Winners during the competition who will be sent the first prize (voucher for tea for two people at The Ritz hotel London).
